Refund & Cancellation
1. Scope
This policy applies to tuition paid directly to MessageRelay Digital Academy for courses listed on message-relay.digital. Third-party grants or employer-sponsored contracts may follow separate terms.
2. Cooling-Off Period
For distance contracts under Korean consumer protection rules, you may cancel within 7 days of purchase without penalty if course materials have not been substantially accessed. Accessing more than 20% of recorded modules may limit full refunds.
3. Full Refund Conditions
Full refunds are available if we cancel a cohort, if you cancel within the cooling-off window without substantial access, or if we fail to deliver advertised live sessions without a rescheduled alternative.
4. Partial Refunds
After the cooling-off window, partial refunds may be calculated pro-rata for unused live weeks, minus an administrative fee of ₩50,000, if you provide written notice with documented relocation or medical grounds we approve.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Downloaded lab bundles purchased separately, third-party exam vouchers, and mentor intensives already delivered are non-refundable. Application fees, if any, are non-refundable.
6. Refund Process
Email refunds@message-relay.digital with enrollment ID, payment proof, and reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds process within 10 business days to the original payment method.
7. Cancellations by the Academy
If enrollment is below minimum cohort size, we may postpone or cancel with 14 days’ notice and offer transfer or full refund.
8. Consumer Rights (KR)
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under the Framework Act on Consumers and related enforcement decrees. For disputes, you may contact the Korea Consumer Agency or local consumer centers in Daejeon.
